Our Story
Dave Shefler started Automotive Appearance Pros in 1990 by purchasing a Yipes Stripes franchise that specialized in painting stripes on cars for dealerships in Columbus, OH. He soon grew the small business to include graphics, automotive accessories and installation. With dedicated hard work, outstanding quality and excellent customer service, Automotive Appearance Pros soon became the preferred partner of local dealerships.
Soon, dealers requested additional products delivered with the same high quality as other Automotive Appearance Pros services. Shefler slowly featured more products like spoilers, remote starts, wheel and tire packages, lift kits and Jeep accessories. Automotive Appearance Pros was one of the first shops on the east coast offering paint protection film to both local dealers and retail customers. Today you can't find another shop with more experience installing any type of film to vehicles.
